Concert Conferences of the 2013 – 2014

This is the second edition of the programme which SVC dedicates specifically to young people, an initiative which last year was widely appreciated.

The immediate principal aim was to attract young people to chamber music, and the fact that the performing musicians were almost of the same age as the students contributed significantly to the enthusiastic involvement of the students and to the success of the enterprise.

The structure of the programme has not been changed: this year the musicians selected to form the various ensembles come from Music Conservatories of the Veneto area. As in the preceding season the concerts will be introduced by dott. Alessandro Zattarin.

SVC wishes to thank all who contributed to the success of the programme: Maestro Filippo Gamba who managed the event, the Ente Teatro La Fenice which from the start participated actively and with conviction in the event and which will again host the performances, the Department of Cultural Activities of the Venice Municipality as patron of the event and the Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia which gave financial support.
