The project consisted of a cycle of concerts held by 6 young pianists from Basle who participated in the class of Maestro Filippo Gamba: a project which can almost be described as twin to the concert season.
Each lecture-concert was introduced by Dr. Alessandro Zattarin formerly a pupil of Maria Tipo at the School of Music in Fiesole and a lecturer in comparative literature at the University of Padua. Dr.Zattarin’s narration had the objective of restoring the influence which the history of music preserves together with the related precise historical data.
All the lecture-concerts were held in the Sala Apolinee , the performances at 10.30 were reserved for students of the city’s secondary schools, second grade, and were repeated at 17.30 on the same day for the students of the Conservatory of Music, members of SVC, Friends of the Fenice and interested and enthusiastic venetians.
The approximate duration of the lecture was 30+30m.
Entrance in the afternoon was free up to the exhaustion of available seats.
