Duo Cesar Stroscio & Claudio Pino Enriquez
César Stroscio, bandoneón
Claudio Pino Enriquez, guitar

The poet of bandaneón and one of the young masters of the guitar from Buenos Aires relive tangos and the atmosphere of an emblematic site of the tango, the patio, where the people disembarked from vessels to discover their musical heritage and their identities between stars and jasmine which cascaded onto their plates, the perfume of minor waltzes and milongas, the noble tango of the kerosene suburbs.

Monday 17 November 2014

Duo Cristian Zarate & Leonardo Sanchez
Cristian Zarate, piano
Leonardo Sanchez, guitar

The extraordinary meeting of two instruments otherwise incompatible and between two great personalities of the tango. piano and guitar have long disputed the paternity and the orchestral direction of the tango, Cristian Zarate and Leonardo Sanchez however mange the difficult reconciliation of music as much steeped in tradition as open to the heresy of novelty.

Wednesday 25 February 2015

Turbio Tinte Trio
Luis Sampaoli, voice and guitar
Claudio Pino Enriquez, guitar
Ricardo Cabria, bass guitar
César Stroscio, bandoneón (special guest)

Far from the clichés of the tango and nonetheless respectful of its language this intimate and sparkling trio aims to interpret traditional tangos with new arrangements and new tangos with traditional arrangements leaving ample breathing space for improvisations and mutual listening. Emotion, irony, street toughness and attachment to the ‘barrio’, here for the first time in Europe the everlasting tango which flows in the young veins of today’s Buenos Aires.
