Prefaction

After three editions which recorded a gratifying number of visitors and an enthusiastic support from schools, again this year, starts the fourth series of conferences-concert cycle SVC young, that the Società Veneziana di Concerti organizes in collaboration with the Teatro La Fenice in the prestigious setting of the Apollonian Halls. Consistent with the popular nature of the cycle, with a workforce of young performers of high artistic level, we decided to address with more conviction the conference-concert lectures to middle school students of first and second grade of the city of Venice and the Venetian hinterland, planning two morning sessions, at 9.30 am and 11.00 am. The opportunity to participate in two sessions shall be extended to institutions outside the province and the adult set. Admission is free as always, with reservations required until the seats available.

As usual, the speaker of the conference-concert will be Alessandro Zattarin, which has aroused much enthusiasm, in past editions, with its witty and extensive listening guides.

We are proud to launch this new edition of the series SVC Young, trusting in this way to keep young people’s interest turned to the art of music, as well as to fulfill, as far as we can, to an ethical and moral indispensable duty.
